Testimonials

Rapid Computer Training takes pride in its Training Services. Here are a few testimonials from the past attendees.

“I recently attended two Excel workshops (Excel Formulas & Function and Excel Data Analysis) specifically targeted at HR professionals. I originally attended the workshops as a means of a refresher but discovered that there was so much more functionality within Excel that was either new or which I had not utilised previously. Suresh did an excellent job at tailoring the courses to HR subject matter, and supported the delivery of a lot of learning in a fun and informative manner. Both courses were delivered via an online platform, but the way the course was set up together with a comprehensive workbook, ensured that the learning experience was still awesome. You are never too far in your career to learn, and I enjoyed attending the workshops and the learning it provided.

Beth Millard-Hales, CPHR, SHRM-SCP

“I took the Excel Formulas and Functions for Human Resources with Suresh in mid-December 2020 via an online platform. I really enjoyed the way the course was set up; we started with the “basics” (an excellent refresher and ensured that I could easily do them) then moved into the more specialized features (i.e. If, And, Nesting, VLOOKUP etc). Best of all, the course was customized for Human Resources professionals so it focused the Excel features that I can use right away on the job.

Suresh is an excellent instructor. He methodically walked through the process for each function; he was supportive and encouraging; and he answered all of my questions.

Each easy-to-follow step-by-step process is documented in the learner’s manual for future reference. Well done!”

“I would highly recommend Excel for the HR Professionals course to any Human Resources or Administrative professional. I had some reservations about one day courses before, but this course proved me wrong. It addresses all the issues every HR professional faces on a daily basis, every minute you will learn something very useful. You will also receive an Excel file that you can later on refer to. The instructor is very knowledgeable and willing to go an extra mile to help the learner understand all the steps of the process. I wish I had taken this course earlier, it would have saved me so much time!”

“I found the information in these (Excel for HR) courses to be extremely useful. The course materials and files are going to be a great resource to me.  Suresh managed to compact many HR specific examples and exercises into a mere 2 days training which went by very quickly. I highly recommend this company and instructor, and am recommending to our management that the other HR Admins in our company should definitely take these courses. Thank you again for an exciting, fast paced 2 days of very interesting and job specific training!”

“Thanks Suresh. I so enjoyed the Excel for HR course yesterday. I learned many tips and tricks that I know I will use in the future. The pace of the course was just right. While I did know some of the content, it was a great refresher. You were very patient with all of us and made the class fun. By the way, I can’t open the file you sent called Dorothy.xlw. I think you may have mentioned this as it was a file saved on the lap top? Thanks again.”

“Thank you, Suresh. I found the (Excel for HR) course to be excellent, and very good value for the time and money spent. I really appreciated your teaching style, and your sense of humour; the pace was perfect for me. The functions / tools that you selected to include in the course were all things that I will make use of back on the job, and the exercises you set up extremely relevant. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and will share that with colleagues.“

“Thank you, Suresh! I was able to open the workbooks successfully. Both Kiki (HR Generalist) and I thought the training was excellent and will be applying our new knowledge to improve some of our existing tools and create some excellent new ones. The course design was very thoughtful, and I appreciated the many examples you gave for applying the Excel functions we covered to HR tools. I also appreciated that you provided our own workbooks with instructions as a takeaway, and your great sense of humour. The course was very engaging – time just flew! Thanks very much! I also plan to share my comments with BCHRMA.”
