Live Online,
Instructor Led Training
We Make OnLine Training as Good as In-Person Training
How does Live Online training work?
Important information for attendees.
All our public training is delivered via ZOOM video conferencing application that works the best for our training. We can also deliver training via Webex or MS Teams, if you book a private, group event.
We offer OnLine training in Hands-on Mode. It is delivered by a live instructor. We do not train by playing pre-recorded videos. Attendees learn by performing the tasks that the instructor demonstrates on their screen. The attendees can also communicate with fellow participants and the instructor via live audio and video. The training is professional and as good as in-person training. Our attendees like it a lot.
In the Hands-on Mode delivery, attendees work with two application windows on their local computer. The first window is their own work area and the second window displays the instructor’s work area via Zoom video conferencing application.
To get the best from OnLine training, the following computer setup is required:
- An attendee’s computer must be a Windows PC with a video camera and audio capability.
- Our courses are interactive. An attendee must be audible and visible to all other attendees and the instructor, as in an in-person class.
- Please do not register for a course if you do not agree to keep the mic and the video camera on throughout the class.
- A certificate of course attendance is issued only after 100% attendance is observed by the instructor.
- You can check your audio and video connection with a friend or with the Test Meeting feature provided by ZOOM corporation on their website by clicking on this link: ZOOM TEST
- A USB headset (headphone with a microphone) is recommended for crystal clear audio conversation. Using the laptop’s speakers & microphone can sometimes create annoying echoes in the class. Many USB headsets also filter the surrounding noises.
- Please attend the course from a quiet area if attending from the office so that the class is not disturbed by disruptive noises.
- Please consider using two computer monitors. One monitor will display your work window and the other, the instructor’s (Zoom) window. Any modern home TV can also be used as a second monitor.
- An attendee can attend our online training with only one computer monitor. However, they may not be able to keep pace with the class while performing hands-on exercises.
- A high-speed Internet connection is required. A wired connection works better than wireless, as it is more stable and has more throughput.
- The attendee’s computer must have the software that the attendee wants to learn. For example, if you have signed up for an Excel course, Excel must be installed on your PC.
- An attendee will need to install the Zoom Video Conferencing app to join the training session. It can be downloaded for free from www.zoom.us. Please familiarize yourself with the application.
- For private group training via Webex or MS Teams, please contact us for details.
- A PDF reader is required to view the course materials that will be sent to you as a PDF file. PDF readers are available for free on the net.
